Some big compromises in the House version that dropped this morning. First, there will be $2525 in filing fees, $525 of which is due at the outset and $2000 of which is paid five years in to the ten year conditional non-immigrant period. That should presumably answer critics who complain that DREAM will add to the deficity. Also, conditional status is granted in two five year terms and the college education/military service requirements must be met in the first five year term in order to get the extension approved. Hi Friends,
I have a 4 yr Bachelors degree (B.Tech) in IT from India and also have MS in Computer & Network Engineering from UK.
Now my question is since most of the UK universities offer MS for 14-15 months, can I quailify for EB2 Categoy?

I was searching on all programmer salary's on SalaryList.com (http://salarylist.com), it looks like we are much higher than the other majors, business analyst, finance analyst. So if I want to do AC21, in current condition, should I keep same salary? Several companies I talk to can only match now

I have approved I-140 (PD Sep,2007) but recently my H1 extension was denied so had to come on H4, so now what will happen to my GC, do I have to start from scratch OR my I-140 is still valid once I come back on H1 (with different employer).

Labor category has little to do with AC21. Your responsibilties should be 'similar', which is kind of a vague term, which means USCIS would generally not mess with anything that has enough of the same words used in description.

H1-B quota got filled up on May 26, 2006. You have to wait till April 1, 2007 to apply for H1-B, unless the company falls in the exempt category (non-profit, university...). If the SKIL bill is passed in the lame duck session it can change things as well.

I was on F-1 when I applied for I-485 (my wife was the primary applicant). My I-20 expired 6 months back, and I'm working on EAD. I'm planning to travel to India and use my AP for return. Will that be fine ?
What about my I-94 expiry ? I still have a 2 yr old I-94 on my passport, marked F-1/D-S.

We (my wife and I) applied for our EAD renewals. I got email 2 days back saying 'Card production ordered', but did not get a similar mail for my wife.
Is it normal to have applicant and dependent's timings for approvals on different dates? I was thikinkg that since we applied on the same date, and since my case is renewed, my wife's should also be renewed at the same time. Can I wait more or is this something a cause of concern?
Any suggestions please
