omg that's so hot. ...what the hell is it?
Nothing special, only amateurish version what is depicted in next links:

Trying to tell y'all... the Verizon iPhone released in February may truly have switched up the game.
Apple & Verizon came together, and will make LTE work within the iPhone sooner than later, and AT&T is playing catch-up within their entire layout of LTE.
If there is indeed a wait on the iPhone 5(no June/July release), I'd expect it coming with LTE in the 1st quarter of 2012, or possibly this fall. Apple is making COIN on the iPhone 4, and the next big thing is - LTE(4G).
Apple is playing this smart as usual... Or this all could be a rumor, and the iPhone 5 will be here in a couple months for a 'normal' launch update, and the iPhone 6 will be the first to introduce LTE in 2012.
I really don't know... but I do think Apple is playing the Ace of Spades, and may hold on for a new release of the iPhone 4(especially in Verizon's case - Feb '11) before the market, and more emphatically, Verizon's market adoption is seen & heard... Think about it... Apple releases the Verizon iPhone in February, then 4 months later releases a new iPhone - there is some bad business going on there.
Apple is playing the cards right... just not for the consumer.

The Gorillaz love to experiment and Damon Albarn mentioned himself that he loves to challenge himself whist creating his works. In other words, this will not be a continuing trend. I doubt very much will other artists will follow suit.
That said: touche. I can't believe I missed that. I think I need to strike out the word impossible and put impractical.

To torture a defenseless individual is sick and against human rights. To cheerlead the torture of defenseless individuals by others for your own sense of retribution is both sick and cowardly.
So, what do you call, and how do we handle the individual(s)who planned, and helped to plan the death of 3,000 + individuals on 9/11, the bombing of the U.S.S. Cole, the Bali nightclub bombings, and who knows how many more acts of terrorism?
Can you honestly sit there and tell me that when we have in custody a high profile leader such as K.S.M. who has intricate, first hand knowledge of a terrorist organization that we should not do all that we can to obtain as much information from this person as possible? I suppose your thinking (and those of many others here) is that he should have been given a trial by jury, sent to prison, and that we had no right to try and obtain information from him?

What's with all the names changes?
iTools -> .Mac -> MobileMe -> iCloud
It's not the name that's hindering Apple's online efforts, it's the pricing, features and reliability.
I just hope they make iDisk as good or better as DropBox. iDisk in its current iteration is just awful.

Er, not necessarily. Age of consent laws vary widely... in most jurisdictions, an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old can pretty much do whatever they want.

One of my clients is a huge, global corporation (that shall remain nameless), and they use Notes. I only support a smallish design department that uses Macs, and I quickly learned to loathe Notes.
Allow me to quote a rant I wrote about it on 10/8/02, after coming home from a long day of battling Notes issues at that client:
"Lotus Notes [6.0] for the Mac is a turd that they just keep trying to polish. Whoo hoo, it's finally Carbonized and sports the Aqua interface-- that's like putting a fresh coat of paint on an outhouse. This is the most half-assed Mac port of a Windows app since Microsoft Word 6-- scads of 8.3-named library files, a terribly unMaclike interface that is possibly the worst mangling of the 'web browser' metaphor that I have ever seen, and a complete inability to accommodate more than one user per machine, even on a multi-user based OS like Mac OS X. You'd think a company like IBM could actually assemble a team of competent Mac programmers, but judging by the quality of Notes for the Mac, they can't. Memo to IBM/Lotus: Half-assed Mac support is worse than none at all. Rebuild Notes [for the Mac] from scratch, or take it out back and shoot it. It makes Outlook/Exchange look like paradise, even with all the security and virus problems."
That client is now using 6.5.4, and I still hate it. Four years later, and it *still* wants to put the user data folder inside the Notes application folder by default when you install! Last week I ran Migration Assistant to move someone's data back to a PowerBook that had returned from being serviced, and Notes got messed up somehow. It was set to spellcheck all outgoing messages automatically, but lost the location of its dictionary. How do you think Notes would handle that? Just inform the user, "I can't spellcheck, but would you like me send out the message anyway?", right? Wrong! It wouldn't let the user send any mail at all, until I remoted in and disabled the spellcheck entirely. When I was back on site today, I had to reinstall Notes on her machine to fix it.
Which brings us to the problem of support. The only solution I can find for 99% of Notes issues on the Mac is to just reinstall the damned thing.
I could keep on going, but you get the picture.... Notes is a godawful abortion of a software program, and I would lead a much happier life if I didn't have to deal with it. IBM claims they want to improve it? Well they've certainly got their work cut out for them, don't they?

This is not at all strange to anyone who knows the basic business model of TJ Maxx. They buy odd overstock lots of goods, mostly clothes, so they can sell them at a deep discount.
With the rollout of the iPad to numerous new retailers, there were, by extension, numerous opportunities for someone to get overstock. Perhaps Verizon mis-estimated the popularity of the iPad bundled with the My-Fi. Perhaps Target guessed that people would prefer the 16 GB version when in fact the 32 and 64 were more popular. Perhaps someone simply needed to reduce orders to solve a cash flow problem.
In any case, once this happened, TJ Maxx did what they exist to do - stepped in and offered to buy the overstock at a discount so they could sell up. There's no controversy or mystery here - it's just that TJ Maxx managed to land a particularly good lot of stock.
(To clarify, I suspect that whatever retailer sold their stock to TJ Maxx did so at a loss. Did this violate their agreement with Apple? I'd be surprised if it did - there's surely a clause in most of the MAP contracts to deal with clearance/closeout pricing. Indeed, Amazon routinely undersells MAP - the only rule is they can't advertise those prices, so they require you to put the item in the cart to view the price. I assume that whatever retailer sold off their stock did not advertise, and instead contacted TJ Maxx, who I imagine they're used to doing business with, and came to an agreement to liquidate inventory.)

Yes, and they're all just bleeding heart emotional responses, and i don't buy into that crap.
On the contrary, yours is the emotional response. I once supported capital punishment. Rational reflection on the subject has changed my mind. Desiring punishment by death is either vengeful or bloodthirsty, or both, but it is not just.

I think Apple's policy allows for users to opt-in to sharing their personal data.
And that's the point FT has a problem with.
They want that data so they can sell it to marketers and artificially inflate their profits.
Also this made me laugh:
The report notes that the Financial Times has already developed a relatively successful paywall model for its online content, with the newspaper bringing in about 40% of its revenue through digital sales.
They're bringing in 40% of their revenue through digital sales because people already abandoned their paper distribution in droves, just like every other publication. People just go to Google News and get access to thousands of different articles on the same topic that are all free.
FT needs that user data to sell to advertisers because without it they hemorrhage money due to their poor business model.

I thought they showed up in the Device pane when they were plugged in. Is that not how it works with jump drives and SD cards?
